Health & Well-Being
In line with our school ethos, Learn to Love, Love to Learn, we believe it is vitally important to promote health and well being for all of our school community. That’s why we are proud to be a My Happy Mind School teaching our children about their uniqueness, how their brain works and how to self regulate when we feel anxious, as well as looking at our strengths and weaknesses, valuing attributes and personal characteristics.
We operate a Healthy Lifestyles’ Week each year where we focus on areas such as health and fitness, diet and exercise. We are also proud to be a Daily Mile school, encouraging regular exercise and getting out into the fresh air.
We encourage all of our pupils to bring in a healthy snack and lunch and a healthy break is provided for all of P1-3 pupils at minimal cost.
