Parent Council

Part of our School Vision states -

'At KIPS we aim to create a loving, happy and stimulating environment where pupils can learn effectively by partnering with parents and the wider community in supporting our children.'

Parental involvement is one of the four key principles of integrated education and at KIPS we want our parents to have a voice regarding important decisions in relation to school improvement.   In addition to having a number of parents on our Board of Governors we operate a Parent Council.  Our Parent Council exists as a forum for parents/carers to have their say in the creation or review of school policies.   Below you will find a copy of the Terms of Reference.  If you are a current parent and would like to be involved on Parent Council please contact the School Office for more details.

Further to this, we will also send out surveys to parents when required around specific issues or in helping to shape our school development plans.
